La Cucaracha
Name: Is Spanish for "cockroach." It is also Mexican slang for soldiers in the Mexican army who would toke up on marijuana in order to forget the danger they were about to go into, hence the lyrics to the child's tune "La Cucaracha"

Bio:
Starting her vigilante career in the streets of Mexico City, La Cucaracha snuck her way through the underworld of drug cartels and murderers, working against the constant corruption of the police and the political scene, who would rather the cartels continue financing their rich lifestyles. Unfortunately, the corruption got so bad and the crime so overwhelming that Cucaracha was outnumbered and decided to escape to New York City, where she hoped to attract the attention of the UN to Mexico's plight. She found, however, getting an audience with those in charge would be impossible without first making a name for herself so she turned to cleaning the streets, where she operates with various other vigilantes.

Technology/weaponry:

Gloves: Her gloves have small barbs on them, capable of supporting her weight so she can climb just about anywhere. Unfortunately, she's a little afraid of heights so she usually just clambers around in hard-to-reach places closer to the ground.

Boots: Her boots are also barbed, with spikes on the back (for stabbing) and on the bottom (to allow better traction when she's running). She is first and foremost an excellent sprinter and is slowly worming her way into the art of parkour. The bottom barbs help with slippage.

Sleeves: There is a small bar attached to a ring on a string that keeps the overlapping armblades down when not in use. However, if the need arises, she can pull the string and slash her way out of any situation. The armblades are also strong enough to support her weight if she should ever have to stab them into a wall and hang there.
